BBVA Money is BBVA’s own personal-finance app. It works great if your whole financial life runs through BBVA. If not, or if you simply prefer an independent tool with no cross-selling, Sumant fits better.

BBVA Money is built by BBVA. It reads your BBVA account movements (and other banks via PSD2) and uses that data to suggest financial products. Sumant belongs to no bank, never reads your movements and has nothing to sell you.
Three usual reasons: they change banks and don’t want to be tied to their old bank’s app, they don’t want their finance app to double as a cross-selling channel, or they want something that works the same across multiple banks without sharing credentials with an aggregator.
BBVA Money is free for BBVA customers. Sumant is also free at the base tier: unlimited movements, multi-account, budgets and dashboard. PRO costs 2.49 €/month (or 69 € lifetime) and adds recurring transactions, custom categories and CSV export.
