How we make our comparisons

Our comparisons help you choose how to record and review spending. Sumant is our product. That commercial interest matters when you read our pages, so we explain it alongside our sources.

How we choose products

We include tools for related tasks: recording expenses, reviewing accounts, budgeting or working with a file. This is a selection, not the whole market or a ranking from best to worst. Keeping a tool that already meets your needs can be a reasonable choice.

What we check

We use product websites, official help pages and official store listings. We compare transaction entry, platforms, bank connections, file import, export and plan limits. A feature available on Android is not assumed to exist on the web or iOS.

Prices carry a check date and, where relevant, a currency, store and billing period. If a price is only available inside the app, we state that instead of estimating it. A free trial is not described as a permanent free plan.

Published facts, product checks and opinion

A feature described by its developer has not necessarily been tested by us. We only claim a product check when we have evidence of that specific flow. We identify unclear or conflicting sources instead of treating missing information as proof that a feature does not exist.

Who an app might suit is an editorial judgement. Design preferences are not objective features or scores. We do not invent user reviews, testimonials or usage results.

Our interest in Sumant

Sumant is the product publishing these comparisons. We have a commercial interest when we link to its plans or account registration. Those links are distinct from the sources documenting other products.

We include relevant limitations: Sumant has no bank connections or shared accounts, and some features have limits or require PRO. Table order is not an independent ranking. Read the current plans and privacy policy.

Updates and corrections

Source dates record when we consulted them. A page review date changes after a substantive content check or update, not each deployment. We revisit priority comparisons when we identify product changes, reports or outdated facts; we do not promise daily checks or a fixed schedule for every page.

Before purchasing, check current pricing, availability and terms with the official provider. To report an error, send the page URL, the fact and a supporting source through Contact. We will check the report and correct the content and date where appropriate. Oscar Gómez, Sumant’s founder, is the author behind these pages.
